I’ve known Hannah and David for many years (from grade school sports with Hannah to church youth group with both), but once we all graduated, I was only able to follow their relationship through the lens of social media. But when they asked me to photograph their wedding next year, I was ecstatic… and shooting their engagement session in Nashville, TN, only sweetened the deal!
We woke up before the sun to start the shoot at Radnor Lake State Park. The specific dock and rocks Hannah had in mind were completely submerged due to Nashville’s recent flooding, but we rolled with the punches, got our shoes soaked in dewy grass, danced around a bit, then headed to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge where they exchanged love notes and caught the eyes of quite a few walkers.
Hannah and David, your love is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for inviting me to document such a special season of your relationship! It was a blast hanging out again, and I can’t wait for your wedding in March!
